Hi Mama-to-be! My name is Karrington Torey! My passion for supporting women in pregnancy and birth began during my own journey into motherhood. As I prepared to welcome my baby, I became deeply fascinated by the incredible design of the female body and its ability to grow and birth new life. I found myself constantly learning about pregnancy, birth, and the many ways women can be supported through this transformative experience.

During my own birth experience, I chose to give birth at a birth center with a midwife, and that journey opened my eyes to how powerful it can be when women feel informed, supported, and confident in their choices.

That experience ignited a passion in me to walk alongside other mothers during one of the most important seasons of their lives.

I founded Empowered Mama Co. with the desire to support, educate, and encourage women throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I believe every mother deserves to feel heard, respected, and informed as she navigates her unique journey into motherhood.

As a doula, my goal is to provide compassionate support, evidence-based education, and practical tools that help families feel confident and prepared for birth and the transition into parenthood.

Whether your vision includes an unmedicated birth, hospital birth, birth center experience, or something in between, my role is to support you and help you make informed decisions that align with your values and desires.
